Joel is a rising star within the animation community. He describes himself as a visual development artist with a strong emphasis on character design.

   After studying at the Animation Academy—located in Burbank, California—Joel eventually instructed classes on character design and visual development. 

   With a strong art background in development and animation, Joel also acquired extensive experience within the fashion industry. He has worked with The Hundreds Is Huge Inc., a Los Angeles-based streetwear apparel company. While at The Hundreds, Joel helped conceptualize and design T-shirts.

   Furthermore, Joel worked at Twin Star Entertainment, based out of Pasadena, California. This production company appointed Joel to oversee a 3D design team located in Nepal, and he provided artwork and storyboards for them remotely.
